Text messaging is an optional way to communicate with ThisLife Counseling about practice information, appointments, and other administrative needs.

Review the disclosure, then send us a question about services or scheduling. Our staff will reply personally. You can also text START to request text communication.

Your consent is optional.

By initiating a text conversation or texting START to 706-383-7290 after reviewing this disclosure, you agree to receive replies from ThisLife Counseling, LLC about your service inquiry, therapist availability, appointment scheduling or rescheduling, and related administrative questions. Consent is limited to your inquiry and its related conversation. Messages are manually sent by staff; this program does not send unsolicited marketing, bulk messages, or automated/API-driven messages.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. For support, reply HELP, call or text 706-383-7290, or email appointments@thislifecounseling.com. Reply STOP at any time to opt out.

Clients may also provide their mobile number and select Yes to the optional text-communication question on their intake form. Selecting No does not affect access to services.

Optional consent during intake

Clients provide their mobile number on intake paperwork and may select Yes or No to the following question. Neither option is selected by default. Providing a phone number alone is not consent.

May ThisLife Counseling send text messages to the mobile number you provided about appointments, scheduling, and practice-related questions? Message frequency varies. Appropriate use

Use text for general and administrative communication.

Text messaging is not monitored as an emergency or crisis service. Avoid sending detailed clinical histories, extensive trauma narratives, Social Security numbers, or payment-card information.
